The Chase for the Camping World Truck Series’ Championship will begin tomorrow afternoon with the running of UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The current 8 driver roster for the Truck Series’ Chase includes Christopher Bell, Johnny Sauter, Matt Crafton, John Hunter Nemechek, Ben Rhodes, followed by rookies Chase Briscoe, Kaz Grala, and Austin Cindric. If you consider the fact that the Chase excludes Xfinity or Cup Series drivers from participating, those Chase drivers should be the main competitors for victories over the next 7 races. Therefore these 8 drivers will be under the microscope as we look to predict race winners starting with our 2017 UNOH 175 race predictions for tomorrow’s Truck Series race at Loudon.

The start of NASCAR’s Chase for the Cup will take place this afternoon when the green flag is waved in the Tales of the Turtles 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. Currently Martin Truex Jr is the overall favorite for the Chase considering his performance throughout the season. Truex and Kyle Larson led all drivers with 4 victories this year but it was the #78 team’s dominance in stage points that has given them a big advantage heading into the Chase. Truex accumulated 18 stage wins which will give him a big points advantage at the start of each round of the Chase. However, we do know things can change drastically from week to week in NASCAR’s playoffs. The Xfinity Series’ regular season will conclude on Saturday with the running of the TheHouse.com 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. As a result, this will be the last week that we see Cup Series drivers participating in Xfinity Series events because they are barred from all Chase races throughout the remainder of the year. Tomorrow Ryan Blaney, Erik Jones, Daniel Suarez, Austin Dillon, Ty DIllon, and Kyle Larson will get an opportunity for a final Xfinity Series victory on the season. However, we will still have to keep an eye on several Xfinity Series regulars that could spoil the show. The Camping World Truck Series will end a brief hiatus with the running of tonight’s TheHouse.com 225 at Chicagoland Speedway. After two off weeks in the last month, Truck Series action will pick back up as tonight’s race at Chicagoland will be the last race before the Truck Series Chase begins next week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. While most Chase scenarios have already been determined due to points barring any surprise winners, we will not add any unnecessary drama surrounding potential Chase scenarios.
