2018 Kobalt 400 Race Picks

The Monster Energy Cup Series will drop the green flag in Sin City tomorrow afternoon with the running of the Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sunday’s race will be the first of two races this year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Kobalt 400 has historically been the only race at Las Vegas at this time each year in early March. However, the Cup Series will get a 2nd date at Las Vegas in 2018 when the series returns in September for the opening round of the Chase. Therefore, this Sunday’s event holds some extra significance as it could be an indicator of what we can expect when the series returns later this year.
