2018 Quaker State 400 Race Picks

After two exciting night races the last two days, all eyes turn to Saturday’s main event as the Monster Energy Cup Series steps into the primetime spotlight for the running of the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. Last week we witnessed one of the wildest races of the season when Erik Jones pulled out his first career victory as we celebrated Independence Day at Daytona. The fireworks from the July 4th celebration may have concluded but there is a strong possibility more will fly late Saturday when the green flag waves at Kentucky. The racetrack is fast and the racing groove is narrow which leads to high speed tight racing action for 400 miles. As we prepare for another exciting show, let’s talk about our expectations with our 2018 Quaker State 400 race picks!
