2026 The Progressive Group 250 Betting Race Picks

Earlier this afternoon, we captured our first winner of the weekend with Sammy Smith winning the Love’s RV Stop 225 at Talladega Superspeedway. Smith was able to edge out Tyler Ankrum on the final lap for the victory in a race that was plagued by tire issues. Under green flag conditions, tires were failing every 15-20 laps which caused a lot of issues throughout the afternoon. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see if any tire issues carry into the weekend. Perhaps our answer will be revealed on Saturday when NASCAR’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Series takes center stage at Talladega Superspeedway for the running of The Progress Group 250.
