The Camping World Truck Series will take the green flag at Atlanta Motor Speedway this afternoon at approximately 5:49PM (EST) in the Hyundai Construction Equipment 200. Today’s race marks the first Truck Series race at Atlanta since 2012. In the last stop at Atlanta, Ty Dillon passed Kyle Busch in the closing laps to score the first victory of his NASCAR career. With another young field ready to roll out today, there is a chance for another driver to score their first victory. Drivers like Daniel Suarez, Ben Kennedy, and Cameron Hayley will being vying for the opportunity to score that first victory when the green flag waves this afternoon. However all of those drivers will have to contend with Sprint Cup Series superstar Brad Keselowski who is the heavy favorite for today’s event. Take a look at our Hyundai Construction Equipment 200 race picks!

Bad Brad is listed as a disgusting -110 favorite to win today’s race at Atlanta. As sick as those odds are, it is hard to imagine Keselowski not winning today’s race despite his struggles in the Truck Series. From a competition standpoint, Keselowski appears to be in a class of his own which he proved in practice and by winning the pole for today’s Hyundai Construction Equipment 200. However if you are going to bet Keselowski, then the only bet that makes a lot of sense is an open parlay that can be combined with tomorrow’s Cup Series race at Atlanta. If you are still not using a book that has NASCAR parlays, then go ahead and sign up with 5Dimes.

Outside of Keselowski, it could be a wide open race if something happens to the #29 truck. Truck Series veterans Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter are looking to get 2015 started off on the right foot. Sauter had somewhat of a regressive 2014 campaign but believes the team is ready to contend this season. Crafton has won back to back Camping World Truck Series Championships and is normally among the drivers to beat when the field lacks Cup Series talent. However as we previously mentioned, there are a ton of young drivers that will be trying to make a name for their selves this afternoon. The trucks of Daniel Suarez and Cameron Hayley have been surprisingly fast in practices if you are looking for some potential value in match-ups or even a dark horse for a victory. I still believe the best young talent in the field belongs to the truck of Erik Jones. Jones was 2nd in practice behind Keselowski and I still expect a big year from the young 18 year old driver. In fact, he is my pick to win the championship in 2015 and I expect he hangs around the front this afternoon.
