The first official Monster Energy Cup Series race at the ROVAL course at Charlotte Motor Speedway will take place when the green flag waves on Sunday for the Bank of America 400. In just a matter of days since cars unloaded on Friday, the ROVAL has built a treacherous reputation as a demanding racetrack that is filled with dangerous areas that can result in turmoil. We have seen numerous wrecks in each practice session and even in qualifying so far this weekend. Perhaps we still do not know exactly what to expect but rest assured all eyes will be on the tomorrow’s race with this level of unknown combined with the elevated drama surrounding the Chase.
