2026 Fleetio 200 Betting Race Picks

Date/Time: Saturday September 5th, 2026. 7:30PM (EST)
Where: Darlington Raceway
TV: CW

Following a dominating regular season that was highlighted by 6 victories, Justin Allgaier will kick off the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase this weekend with a 25 point lead. However, there are a total of 12 drivers that will be fighting for a championship over the final 10 races of the regular season and all it takes is for someone to get hot at the right time. The opening act in the O’Reilly Series’ Chase will take place Saturday night with the running of the Fleetio 200 at Darlington Raceway. Allgaier won the Sport Clips Haircut Help a Hero 200 at Darlington back in the spring and has won 2 of the last 4 races at the historic venue. As a result, Allgaier enters the weekend not only as the points leader but as the outright betting favorite as he looks to conquer The Lady in Black once again!

Back in the spring race, there were several Cup Series talents that were in the field. Cup Series heavyweights Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell were among the big names in the field and both drivers finished in the top 4 positions after leading more than 100 laps combined. The good news this week is that we will not have to worry about the Cup Series’ drivers who are excluded from competing in the playoff races. As a result, our betting focus can be put solely towards the O’Reilly Series full-time and part-time talents. With that being said, Allgaier enters the weekend as the deserving betting favorite. Allgaier is a 4-time winner at Darlington and all of those wins have occurred over the last 10 races. Beyond the wins, Allgaier’s statistics at Darlington are overwhelmingly impressive. Allgaier has posted a 100+ average driver rating in 13 of the last 14 races and an incredible 129+ average driver rating in 3 of the last 4 races at Darlington.

Needless to say, no other driver has come close to replicating those metrics at Darlington and that makes it very difficult to avoid putting Allgaier on betting lineups despite his chalky betting odds. However, the winners at Darlington rarely come as a surprise. The track labeled “Too Tough To Tame” requires the best in drivers and we typically see similar talents at the front of the field in each touring series. Simply based on those factors, we rarely see surprise winners or even winners with odds better than 10-1. I mention those factors not to discourage bettors from being active this weekend at Darlington. I just mention it to keep things conservative in futures (win) formats and perhaps put heavier units wagered towards H2H match-ups where we can identify sharp value!

Darlington – O’Reilly Notes

  • Justin Allgaier leads all active drivers with 4 wins at Darlington.
  • Brandon Jones is the only other active winner at Darlington. Jones has two wins from 2020 and last year (2025).

Early Betting Targets

Practice and qualifying will not take place until Saturday afternoon for the Fleetio 200. Personally, I don’t put a ton of stock into “practice speeds” at Darlington especially because the race will be under the lights in completely different track conditions. With that being said, practice speeds sometimes show us the extremes involving the drivers/teams that have either brought much more speed than expected or have completely missed the setup. Therefore, I will be watching practice closely to see if we can identify any of those outliers. As things currently stand, I want Justin Allgaier on my betting card even at his low odds. There is a decent chance that Allgaier does not qualify in the top 5 and his odds get “slightly” better but I don’t expect them to change much. For that reason, I can pull the early trigger on Allgaier and put him into parlay formats with Sunday’s Southern 500.

Behind Allgaier, I believe that Brandon Jones and Carson Kvapil are likely the best two options to challenge the #7 car. Kvapil has been strong in recent races at Darlington and is sort of on a heater at the moment. Meanwhile, Darlington may be Jones’ best track despite his inconsistency concerns from week to week. With that being said, I’m not exactly thrilled with either driver’s current betting odds for the outright win but they definitely deserve consideration. If you are looking for dark horses, Corey Day and Sam Mayer both deserve respect. Like the others, there is just not enough betting value with current odds. However, I will be watching both drivers closely in Saturday’s practice. For immediate consideration in H2H formats, Mayer and Sammy Smith are the names that stand out and have a high likelihood to outperform drivers with similar betting odds!
